Swiggy agent assigns order delivery to Dunzo, leaves Twitter confused

Bengaluru’s traffic often confused our minds. The traffic jam is a big problem for daily commuters. Needless to say, delivery agents in Bengaluru also have to face this problem for hours on end every day to deliver orders up to customers’ thresholds. Given the daily hustle and bustle of hours of traffic and scorching audience, a Karnataka capital swiggy delivery agent decided to assign his order to someone else. Interestingly, instead of canceling the order or giving it to someone from the same delivery company, this agent used the delivery program Dunzo. Incredible, right?

A Twitter user revealed the whole incident by sharing a chat screenshot where his friend revealed the details with him. According to the chat, the delivery man was too “lazy” to pick up the order. The chat read: “I ordered a coffee on Swiggy from CCD. The delivery man picked it up, but was too lazy to come and deliver it here. ” Then he wrote in all capital letters: “So he gave it to me.” To add to the surprise, the Swiggy agent called the customer to inform him about the delivery and also asked him for a 5-star rating.

The post led to several hilarious comments on the social media platform.

For many users, it was just another incident from Silicon Valley.

Referring to the increasing popularity of Dunzo, one person questioned whether the delivery program was transporting people from their homes to office, as Ola and Uber charge a hefty price.

Another curious spirit also thought of the possibility that Dunzo delivery agent would subdelegate it to another service.

One of the users claimed that Zomato and Swiggy Dunzo had been using it for some time and this caused a lot of problems. While Swiggy may be looking into the matter soon, the incident left many with a good laugh.
