“Tough day at work”: police, guards injured while rescuing Leopard. Look.


Three officers were injured during an operation to catch the leopard.

New Delhi:

A police officer and two forest department officials were injured during an operation to catch a leopard in the Behrampur village of Haryana’s Panipat. The leopard was later successfully calmed.

The incident occurred when a rescue team performed an operation to catch the leopard on Saturday. The team acted on a message from villagers who noticed the leopard. A station house officer (SHO) and two officials from the Forestry Department, who led the team, were injured in the encounter with the leopard.

The team still managed to calm the leopard.

Panipat police superintendent shared the video on social media and saluted the bravery and courage of those involved in the operation.

“Difficult day at work for people from the police and forest department. Some of them sustained injuries .. Salute for their bravery and courage .. In the end everyone is safe .. Including the leopard,” said Panipat SP Shashank Kumar Sawan said on Twitter.

At the time of writing, Mr. Sawan’s tweet received more than 8,800 likes and more than 1,700 retweets.

Several social media users also applauded the bravery of the officials.

“This video makes it clear how dangerous the work of a policeman is,” a user commented.

Earlier today, a man was attacked by a leopard in Assam’s Dibrugarh when he tried to click on a photo of the animal. A video of the incident, which took place near Kharjan tea estate in Assam’s Dibrugarh, has now gone viral.
